Therapy I offer

I offer three types of therapy and tailor my approach to each individual or couple that I work with. I am always collaborative and compassionate in how I work, meaning that I see us as a team who will actively work together to bring about positive change in your life and alleviate distress.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is ideal for those who may be struggling with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, OCD, trauma and depression. The CBT I offer is a gentle, practical approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Together, we explore the patterns that might be causing stress or keeping you stuck, and find new, more supportive ways of thinking and coping. CBT gives you simple, effective tools you can use in your everyday life, helping you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) is ideal for those who struggle with low self-worth, perfectionism and self-criticism. It helps you develop a kinder and more understanding relationship with yourself. Together, we explore the patterns of self-criticism or shame that may be holding you back, and gently build the skills to tap into your natural capacity for compassion, strength, and soothing. CFT offers grounding practices and tools that help you feel safer, more connected, and more emotionally resilient in your everyday life.

Couples therapy is a supportive, non-judgmental space where partners can slow down, understand each other more deeply, and rebuild a sense of connection. Together, we explore communication patterns, unmet needs, and moments of misunderstanding with curiosity rather than blame. Therapy offers practical tools to help you navigate conflict, strengthen trust, and create a relationship that feels safer, more loving, and more resilient.

Couples Therapy

How does therapy work?

Individual Therapy

First, we’ll start with an assessment so I can understand your concerns, history, and goals.

Next, we’ll create a simple plan with clear goals, the methods we’ll use, and how often we’ll meet.

In regular sessions, we’ll learn and practice practical skills to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, with small homework tasks to support progress.

Finally, we’ll review your progress, strengthen what’s working, and plan for ongoing support or referrals if needed.

Couples Therapy

First, we’ll begin with an assessment to understand each partner’s history, concerns, and relationship goals; I’ll meet with you together and individually so everyone can be heard.

Next, we’ll create a simple plan that outlines priorities, our approach, and short-term goals.

In regular joint sessions, we’ll practice communication and conflict-resolution skills, explore unhelpful patterns, and use tailored exercises—with small between-session tasks to support progress.

Finally, we’ll review how things are going, strengthen what’s working, and create a maintenance or relapse-prevention plan, with referrals if needed.

I usually meet with clients on a weekly basis and accept payment via bank transfer.

If you cancel the appointment within 48 hours, you will be charged the full session fee.

I am only able to work with self-funding clients and I am unable to work with insurance providers.
